This policy explains how Patni Capital Pvt. Ltd. ("Patni Capital", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website. It is written to meet the requirements of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you use the contact form or write to us, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it) and your message.
  • Usage information. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring website, using cookies or similar technologies. IP addresses are anonymised.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider may record technical information such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request, for security and reliability.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, passwords, OTPs, broker login details, bank details or identity documents through this website.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence. We rely on the consent you give when you submit the form or write to us.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it, through analytics, where enabled.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@patnicapital.in. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. After withdrawal we will stop processing your data for that purpose, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run this website, such as our hosting provider, our contact-form provider and Google (for analytics), and only as needed for them to provide that service. Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India. We may also disclose data where required by law or by a lawful request from an authority.

Cookies

This website itself does not set advertising cookies. If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on; the website will continue to work.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, unless the law requires a longer period. We then delete it. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting in Google Analytics.

Children

This website is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
  • withdraw consent;
  • have a grievance about our handling of your data addressed; and
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
